This is a great trip to explore the remote Arunachal Pradesh and its various ethnic tribal groups. Birthplace of the 5th Dalai Lama, the Tawang monastery is a major attraction. Combining it with one of the most important wildlife park in the world, this tour indeed, has no parallel.

Day 1 : Arrive - Delhi/Calcutta
Met upon arrival at the International airport and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Delhi/Calcutta - Guwahati - Tezpur
Fly to Guwahati. Upon arrival drive to Tezpur (200 km) for 4 hours.

Day 3 : Tezpur - Bhalukpong - Bomdila
Drive for 5 hours to reach Bomdila. Enroute stop at Bhalukpong for passport check. Visit Tipi Orchidarium and Research Center. Enroute pass the villages of `Bugun Tribe'. Also visit Rupa valley which is home to Sherdukpen Tribes. PM: Sightseeing of the town. Overnight at hotel

Day 4 : Bomdila - Dirang - Tawang
Morning drive to Tawang. En route see the spectacular views of Gaurichen mountains. Visit Old Dirang village of the Buddhist monpa tribes and Monastery. Drive over the spectacular Sela Pass(4215 m). Later drive to Tawang. Overnight at the hotel.

Days 5 : Tawang
Visit the famous `Galden Namgyal Lhatse Monastery, known as Tawang Monastery'. This 1637-47 AD built gompa reflects the richness of Gelugpa sect of Mahayana Buddhism. The monastery has a rich collection of ancient artifacts in its private museum. Also hike to the nunnery as well as visit the handicraft center. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Tawang - Bomdila
Return drives to Bomdila. En route visit the Yak breeding farm and the orphanage.

Day 7: Bomdila - Itanagar
A long 8 hrs drive to Itanagar. PM: Visit the Itanagar museum.

Day 8: Itanagar - Zero
Morning 4 hours drive to Zero. En route visit of the various Nishi villages. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Zero
Fullday to visit the various Apatani villages in this rice rich valley. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Zero - Itanagar
Return drive to Itanagar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Itanagar - Kaziranga
Fullday drive to Kaziranga. Overnight at the wildlife lodge.

Day 12: Kaziranga
Morning ride on the elephants in the park, famous for its one horned Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tigers. Late morning and early afternoon excursions in the park by jeeps. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 13: Kaziranga - Guwahati - Delhi/Calcutta
Early morning drive to Guwahati airport for 5 hours. Fly to Delhi/Calcutta. Overnight at the hotel

Day 14: Depart - Delhi/Calcutta
Transfer to airport to board flight to onward destination.
