Day 1 : Arrive

Arrive Delhi at midnight and transfer to Hotel Oberoi for one night.
Day 2 : To
Shimla
The day is at leisure with optional sightseeing of Delhi. Board the
Kalka Mail from Delhi station in the evening. Overnight in
air-conditioned first class sleeper.
Day
3 : Shimla
Arrive Kalka, nestling in the foothills of the Himalayas, early in the
morning. Change to the Shivalik Express, the narrow gauge train that
climbs up to 7000' to reach Shimla in under 5 hours. Transfer to the
Cecil Hotel for 3 nights.

Days 4 & 5 : Shimla
At leisure. Shimla is ideal for walks and life revolves around the busy
Mall in the centre of town. One can visit the mock tudor Library, the
Christ Church, the Gaiety Theatre and the Viceregal Lodge.
Day 6 : Palampur
Drive to Palampur for 2 nights at the Taragarh Palace, a period
property set in mango orchards. Palampur has beautful snow views and is
surrounded by tea plantations. It is a popular place for walking. The
same car and driver will remain with you from today till departure from
Chandigarh.
Day 7 : Palampur
Visit the local sights including the Neughal Khad, a 300 metres chasm
in the Bundla River.
Day 8 : Dharamsala
Drive to Dharamsala, current home of the Dalai Lame, and check in at
the Clouds End Villa, a very well run period hotel with excellent views
of the valley, for 2 nights. Dharamsala is set along a spur of the
Dhauladhar range, overlooking the Kangra Valley and the Shiwalik
mountains.
Day 9 : Dharamsala
Visit the headquarters of H.H. The Dalai Lama in Mcleodganj and the
Norbulingka Institute, centre for Buddhist teaching, housing over a
thousand painted images. You can also visit the Namgyal Monastery, the
Kalachakra Temple and the Bhagsunath Temple. Paintings by Roerich can be
seen in the Museum of Kangra Art.
Day 10 : Pragpur
Drive on to Pragpur visiting the sights of Kangra en route, including
the Nagarkot Fort, perched on a steep rock dominating the valley, and
the Brajesvari Devi temple. Stay 2 nights at the Judges Court, a
heritage property where you enjoy traditional hospitality of the royal
family. Pragpur is a medieval "heritage" village with
cobblestone streets and slate-roofed houses.
Day 11 : Pragpur
At leisure to explore the village.
Day 12 : Nalagarh
Proceed to the delightful Nalagarh Fort, another heritage resort
offering very warm local hospitality, for 2 nights. The fort commands
beautiful views of forests and orchards and the area is rich in
birdlife.

13 : Nakagarh
At leisure to explore the village.
Day 14 : Delhi
Drive to Chandigarh in the morning. The planned city was designed by Le
Corbusier and is built in various sectors, with the Sukhna Lake and the
Rock Garden being important landmarks of the city. You can visit the
city or Pinjore Gardens on the outskirts, near Kalka. Take the midday
Shatabdi Express from Chandigarh back to Delhi, arriving early evening.
Stay at the Park Hotel or Welcome Marriott till departure, around
midnight.
Day 15 : Fly Out
Fly out to international destination.
