Trip to encounter Goddesses Mt. Nanda Devi in different moods. Nanda Devi (7,818 m), the beloved mountain Goddess of Garhwal Himalayas, whose territories mark one of the highest national territorial parks in the world, abounds with some of the most fascinating mountain peaks e.g Dunagiri (7,066 m), Changbang (6864 m), Kalanka (6,932 m), Rishipahar (6,992 m), Trishul I and II (7,210 m & 6,319 m), Mrigthuni (6,565 m), and Bethartoli hemal (6,352 m), and some of the rare Himalayan fauna e.g. snow leopard, musk deer, monal pheasant, with a great variety of birds and butterflies and rare Himalayan flora. All this can be encountered at its best on the Kuari Pass trek, which starts at Auli, one of the best ski slopes (in winter) in Asia. The entire trek goes through excellent meadows and thick forests of oak, and fir (cedar), with extraordinary views of Mt. Nanda Devi. The trek also involves negotiating a high pass i.e. Kuari (4,268 m).


Day 1 : Arrive Rishikesh
Overnight at Hotel. Arrive at Rishikesh and transfer to Hotel \Peasants Cottage. Dinner followed by briefing on the trek and meeting the crew. Meals and overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Rishikesh - Joshimath
Rishikesh Lakshan Jhula Early morning after-breakfast drive to Joshimath. The entire drive is along the Alaknanda River till we reach Joshimath. En route stop at Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, and Nanda prayag, the most famous confluence of Gahrwal Himalayas. Arrive at Joshimath and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 3 : Joshimath - Auli
CAMP Morning free to explore the area to visit famous Shankaracharya temple and other places in Joshimath. After lunch trek to Auli. Arrive Auli and camp. Dinner and overnight camp.

Day 4 : Auli - Tali
Early morning enjoyment of the sunrise on Nanda Devi peak. After breakfast trek through the meadow to Tali. The entire trek today is a gradual ascent. Arrive at Tali and camp. Meals and overnight camp.

Day 5 : Tali - Kuari Pass Base
Morning after breakfast trek to the base of Kuaripass.

Day 6 : Kuaripass Base - Kuaripass - Khulara
Morning after-breakfast start negotiates the pass. Enjoy the panoramic view of the greater Himalayan peaks. Explore the area and trek down to Khulara village. Arrive and camp. Dinner and overnight camp.

Day 7 : Khulara - Tapovan - Badrinath
Badrinath RempleFull-day trek excursion to Mana, the last village on the Indo-Tibet border. Overnight hotel.

Day 8 : Badrinath
Overnight at hotel.

Day 9 : Badrinath - Rudraprayag
OVERNIGHT HOTEL. Morning after breakfast drive to Rudraprayag. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Rudraprayag - Rishikesh Drive: 5-6 hrs
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Tour terminates upon arrival at Rishikesh.
